• How will governance work?

  Token holders can stake their ONST tokens to vote on and propose new changes to the platform. Each ONST token represents a voting share. Voting shares will be proportional to the number of staked tokens. Voting shares will be used to create consensus on proposed changes and features for the ONSTELLAR platform.

• How does ONSTELLAR work?

  ONSTELLAR distributions cryptocurrency (ONST tokens) based on the concept known as “the wisdom of the crowd.” Said differently, the members review and vote on content and token rewards are automatically distributed by the system. Our system is able to do this thanks to latest innovations in blockchain technology.

• What is an ONST Token and how does it work?

  Upon launch of the platform, the ONST tokens which can be used as a unit of account between members, content creators, professionals and service providers on the ONSTELLAR Platform. The tokens can be used to buy goods or services available through the platform--or can be held by users for voting power to govern the platform.
  
  There is no promise or suggestion of future performance, however the ONSTELLAR system is structured to maintain a USD peg. ONST tokens give no rights in the company and do not represent participation in the company. ONST tokens are sold as a utility token. The purchase of ONST tokens are meant only for experts in cryptographic tokens and blockchain-based software systems. ONST tokens should not be used for investment purposes.
  

• Does it cost anything to post, comment, or vote?

  No, you can post, comment, and vote on content for free. When you recognize another’s contribution, it doesn’t cost you any of your token balance to reward them. The system sends rewards from a predetermined and newly minted reward pool.

• How do I get ONSTELLAR Tokens?

  There are two ways:
  
  1) You can purchase ONSTELLAR tokens at our exchange found inside the system:
  
  Purchasing - Users can purchase ONST or OBD (ONSTELLAR Blockchain Dollars) directly through the wallet using Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), or BitShares tokens. ONSTELLAR tokens that are powered up to OP (ONSTELLAR Power) earn a small amount of interest.
  
  2) You can earn ONSTELLAR tokens by:
  
  Posting - By sharing your posts, you can earn upvotes from community members. Depending on the upvotes you receive, you will get a portion of the ongoing token reward pool.
  
  Voting and Discovering - If you discover a post and upvote it before it becomes popular, you can earn a discovery reward. The reward amount will depend on the amount of ONSTELLAR Power you have.
